Abstract

Adequate parking facilities are needed in trade and service areas so that vehicles entering and leaving do not cause congestion in the area and on the surrounding roads. The more trade facilities and services offered, the greater the need for parking space. The limited number of parking lots (supply) and the number of parking users parking (demand), as well as the low contribution of income to local revenue (PAD) due to a decrease in parking income are several factors that cause the required facilities to be adequate, including modern parking buildings. This study discusses the proper study of a modern parking system known as Automated Vertical Parking, a parking system that helps machines to park cars on a much smaller area than conventional parking systems. This research is a quantitative study that aims to determine the location of modern parking building facilities in the trading area of ​​Jalan Kolonel Atmo Palembang City based on the parameter values ​​of Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) and Payback Period. The results showed that at the rate of Rp. 9000, -/2 the first hour and an additional Rp. 3000, - / the next hour with a discount factor or DF value of 6%, the Net Present Value (NPV) of -Rp.9.617.605.930,- and for the value of the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 4.63%. The value of Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) is 0.82 and for the payback period value which occurs at 43 1 month 3 days which is the longest time compared to other tariffs in this study for the investment year for the construction of Automated Vertical Parking in the trading area of ​​Jl. Col. Atmo Palembang City. Meanwhile, at the rate of Rp. 14000, - for the first 2 hours and an additional Rp. 3000, - / the next hour and the discount factor or DF value of 4%, the Net Present Value (NPV) is Rp. 41,463,694,839. The Internal Rate of Return (IRR) value is 8.22%, the Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) value is 1.74 and the Payback Period value occurs at 18 years 1 month 10 days which is the fastest time for investment capital compared to the scenario other tariff setting in this study. Results Based on the calculation of these parameters, a modern parking building on Jalan Kolonel Atmo, Palembang City is feasible to build if the tariff is Rp. 14000, - for the first 2 hours and an additional Rp. 3000, - / the next hour and the discount factor or DF value is 4%
