Abstract

The lack of guidance and counseling teachers in schools is one of the actual problems today. The ratio of the number of BK teachers and students is still not ideal in accordance with the guidelines of the operational guidelines of BK organizing, BK teachers in that limitation are required to have good collective efficacy. The purpose of this study is to find out the strength of the collective efficacy of guidance and counseling teachers and to find out whether there are significant differences in the collective efficacy of guidance and counseling junior high school teachers and guidance and counselling senior high school teachers . This research uses a quantitative approach with comparative methods. Respondents consisted of 25 teachers of guidance and counseling high school teachers and guidance and counseling junior school teachers in palembang. Data collection using a questionnaire called the Collective Efficacy of Networks (CENS) scale consists of 12 items with 2 sub-scales, namely network rensponsiveness and acces to collective effifacy. The results of the study showed that of guidance and counseling teachers junior high school have the power of collective efficacy at a moderate level with a percentage of 50%, while for the collective efficacy of guidance and counseling teachers senior high school the power of collective efficacy at a moderate level with a percentage of 40%. The t test result was obtained of 0.668 because 0.668 > 0.05, so there was no significant difference between the collective efficacy of BK junior high school teachers and the collective efficacy of guidance and counseling teachers senior high school and guidance and counseling teachers junior high school.
