Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di rumah kaca Jurusan Tanah, sedangkan analisis tanah dan tanaman dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kimia, Biologi, dan Kesuburan Tanah Jurusan Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya dari bulan Agustus 2009 sampai Januari 2010. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh bakteri endofitik dalam berbagai bahan pembawa terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman padi di tanah lebak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inokulasi bakteri endofitik dalam berbagai bahan pembawa berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman padi di tanah lebak, kecuali terhadap peubah bobot kering tajuk dan persentase gabah hampa. Perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada P2 dan P5, namun belum sesuai dengan standar produksi padi varietas Ciherang
