Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine Village Governance in accordance to Law No. 6 of 2014 (Sedyo Mulyo , Mesuji Raya District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency). The researcher used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method in this research. Purposive sampling was used to collect data for this study, which included 11 informants. This research employed interview, documentation, and observation techniques for data collection. Based on the findings of the research, the researcher concluded that Village Governance in Sedyo Mulyo has implemented the principles of Governance in accordance with indicators, such as participation, transparency, responsiveness, and accountability in accordance with Law Number 6 of 2014. The community actively participated in village development, and the village government was transparent and available to the public. The village government is also very quick in providing administrative services, and the village government also submits reports in accordance with the duties and functions as prescribed by applicable regulations.
