Abstract

This study aims to design a garden for the front yard of the legal metrology office of the Lubuklinggau city trade office with a tropical functional garden theme. The research was carried out from August to November 2021. The design of this park has a function as a means of recreation, relaxation, and shade for the Legal Metrology Office. The research method is in the form of field observations and interviews with managers and users of research sites with the following stages: 1) Inventory, 2) Analysis, 3) Concept synthesis, 4) Planning and design, 5) Consultation with users, and 6) Design Legal Metrology Office Front Park The Department of Trade and Industry of Lubuklinggau City with the Theme of a Functional Tropical Garden is presented in the form of 2D, 3D, and video design concepts that are applied to the Legal Metrology park, which is a tropical garden with various types of trees and flowers. The results of this design are designed using sketchup and lumion pro software. The design of the Front Yard Garden of the Legal Metrology Office of the Lubuklinggau City Trade and Industry Office with a Functional Tropical Garden Theme should be realized, so that people can get to know the office better and don't hesitate to come to the office, and the office atmosphere will be cool.
