Abstract

This thesis is entitled “Social Interaction Of Teachers And Students In Online Learning During The Covid-19 Pandemic ( Case Study Of Elementary School Of Muncak Kabau, Buay Pemuka Bangsa Raja District, Ogan Komering Uu Timur Regency). The change in learning methods from the face-to-face method to an online method has caused a shift in the interaction process between teachers and students caused by COVID-19. This study aims to find out how the process of interaction that takes place in online learning and the obstacles faced in the online learning process that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic at SD Negeri Muncak Kabau. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, using primary data sources obtained from the ongoing research process. Field data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Based on observations and interviews conducted, the results of the study indicate that the interaction process that occurs during online learning at SD Negeri Muncak Kabau shows that family economic factors and the availability of infrastructure supporting the online learning process are the main obstacles faced by teachers and students. Causing parents to play a role in the online learning process that takes place, so that the interaction process between teachers and students can be maximized.
