Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya PBB dalam menangani kasus kekerasan seksual pada konflik di Republik Afrika Tengah. Meningkatnya laporan kasus kekerasan seksual di Republik Afrika tengah yang merupakan salah satu dampak dari konflik berkepanjangan yang terjadi di negara tersebut membuat PBB turun tangan dalam penanganan konflik yang terjadi, khususnya kekerasan seksual pada konflik di negara tersebut. Penelitian ini diamati menggunakan konsep Organisasi Internasional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk membuat gambaran suatu peristiwa atau gejala secara sistematis, faktual dengan penyusunan yang akurat. Data yang dikumpulkan oleh peneliti berupa studi studi literatur, data daring, dan pengarsipan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBB berhasil mengurangi jumlah kekerasan seksual yang terjadi melalui peran PBB sebagai instrument, sebagai arena, dan sebagai aktor independen.
