Abstract
This study aims to determine the dose of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers for red ginger plants. This research was conducted on Jl. Melon Mask, Talang Kelapa. Alang - Alang Lebar, Palembang, South Sumatra. carried out from March 2021 to June 2021. This study used a factorial randomized block design. The first factor is N fertilizer and the second is P fertilizer. The dose of N fertilizer consists of N0 = Control; N1 = 150 kg/ha (3.6 g/Polybag); N2 = 225 kg/ha (5.50 g/Polybag); N3 = 300 kg/ha (7.50 g/Polybag) and P fertilizer consists of P0 = Control P1 = 80 kg/ha ( 1.9 g/plant ) P2 = 120 kg/ha ( 2.8 g/plant) P3/ ha (3.8 g/plant). Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, leaf greenness, leaf area, root length, rhizome fresh weight, root fresh weight, total plant fresh weight, root dry weight and total plant dry weight. The results showed that the treatment of various doses of N and P fertilizers had no effect on the growth and yield of red ginger plants, becausein this study there was no significant effect, recommended to see the effect at the optimal harvest time of red ginger harvested.
