Abstract
Research about speciation of Cr34 and Cr64 using cyclic voltammetry method with platinum electrode (Pt) from waste spark plug (PtBB) had been done. This study aims to determine the optimum condition of Cr34 danCr64 measurement. To determine the optimum condition, variables which were leamt including pH, deposition time, and scan rate towards current. The result showed that the PtBB electrode can be used as working electrode in the analysis of Cr3+dan Cr64 speciation. The optimum condition of Cr34 measurement in pH 6, deposition time of 30 seconds, and scan rate 160 mV/s. Meanwhile, for Cr in pH 4, deposition time 60 seconds, and scan rate 140 mV/s. According to statistic measurement, linearity ofthe calibrationcurveforCr3+was achieved inthe concentration range between 0,1-1 pg/L, r = 0,9539, and detection limit which was Cr3+0,602 pg/L. Meanwhile, for Cr64 in concentration range between 0,1-1 pg/L, r = 0,9995 and detection limit of Cr64 which was 0,059 pg/L.
