Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Kualitas Informasi pada Media Sosial Instagram @palembangkec_plaju Mengenai Program “Inovasi Tegur Sapa”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas informasi pada media sosial Instagram @palembangkec_plaju mengenai Program “Inovasi Tegur Sapa”. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teori kualitas informasi yang dikemukakan oleh McLeod (McLeod, 2008 : 65). Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 96 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pencapaian variabel kualitas informasi berada pada tingkat sangat tinggi. Pada dimensi pertama, relevancy, memperoleh persentase sebesar 86,9%. Pada dimensi kedua, accuracy, memperoleh persentase sebesar 84,9%. Pada dimensi ketiga, timeliness, memperoleh persentase sebesar 81,8%. Pada dimensi terakhir, completeness, memperoleh persentase sebesar 79,8%. Kata kunci : kualitas informasi, media sosial, Instagram
