Abstract

Pada PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang steam yang dihasilkan boiler, digunakan untuk menggerakkan turbin uap ataupun digunakan dalam proses pembentukan amoniak. Pada PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang steam yang dihasilkan boiler, digunakan untuk menggerakkan turbin uap ataupun digunakan dalam proses pembentukan amoniak. Berdasarkan penelitian, nilai laju aliran massa steam terendah berada pada nilai ṁsteam = 20.67 Kg/s, sedangkan nilai laju aliran massa steam tertinggi berada pada nilai ṁsteam = 22.95 Kg/s. Efisiensi boiler tertinggi yaitu η=76.71% sedangkan nilai efisiensi boiler terendah yaitu η=64.26% . Dari trendline pada grafik terlihat bahwa laju aliran massa steam berbanding lurus terhadap efisiensi boiler, artinya semakin besar laju aliran massa steam maka efisiensi dari boiler tersebut juga semakin besar.
