Abstract
Ultisol has the main problem in the form of low nutrient content which is caused by a rapid decomposition process while the alkaline washing process takes a long time and occurs intensively causing low organic matter content. In order to meet the lack of nutrient needs, it is hoped that the latest technology that can optimize soil work is the application of biostimulants and inorganic fertilizers, one way to increase plant productivity and provide nutrients in the soil. The research was carried out from July 2021 to December 2021 at the Experimental Garden of Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir. The design used in this study was a randomized block gesign with 9 treatment levels. Each treatment was repeated 3 times, so there were 27 experimental units. The research data were analyzed using ANOVA at a 5% significance level and further tested with the BNT test. The results showed that the treatment of biostimulants and inorganic fertilizers had a very significant effect on K-dd levels and no significant effect on soil pH, N-total and P-available values and a percentage calculation was carried out to see treatments that could increase the levels of N-total, P-available and K-dd ground. The results of this study suggest that the cultivation of red chili with the application of B3 : Biostimulant seed application + 75% recommendation of NPK + Urea fertilizer is the best treatment in increasing soil NPK levels and also soil pH.
