Abstract

In peatlands, besides rainfall, there is another important parameter related to peat burning, namely water level. This research was conducted to analyze rainfall and water level data on peatlands when the positive IOD phenomenon occurred 2019. The data period used is 2018 and 2019 through SESAME data. The study areas are West Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan. This research was conducted to understand the differences in rainfall and water level in 2018 and 2019 where in 2019 there was a positive IOD phenomenon. The data taken from SESAME is rainfall data and hourly water level. The data is then processed into daily data, then the data is reprocessed into monthly data. Based on the monthly data, graphs of rainfall, water level, the relationship between rainfall and water level are obtained, as well as the correlation between rainfall and water level.
