Abstract
Telah berhasil dikembangkan game learning berbasis adventure pada materi suhu dan kalor untuk SMP yang valid dan menarik. Penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan Rowntree, yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap evaluasi menggunakan evaluasi fomatif Tessmer, yaitu self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation dan small group evaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah walkthrough dan lembar kuesioner tanggapan peserta didik. Hasil expert review diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 95% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil tahap one-to-one evaluation, tanggapan peserta didik terhadap penggunaan game learning diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 90% dengan kriteria sangat menarik. Sedangkan pada tahap small group evaluation, tanggapan peserta didik terhadap penggunaan game learning diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 100% dengan kriteria sangat menarik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan game learning berbasis adventure pada materi suhu dan kalor untuk SMP yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kriteria sangat valid dan sangat menarik
