Abstract
Chili is a plant that is needed in society both as a component of cooking spices. Anthracnose is the main disease of chili plants that can cause serious losses. Anthracnose can cause losses of up to 60% or more. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 treatments. namely plant extracts and solution concentrations of .05. 0.1. 0.25. 0.5. 0.75. 1.0 and control using aquadest with 3 replications applied in vitro and in vivo. Lemongrass and cherry leaf extracts were able to suppress the growth of the fungus C. gloeosporioides on PDA media and cayenne pepper. Lemongrass leaf extract was able to suppress fungal growth on PDA media up to 100% at each concentration. while cherry leaf extract was able to suppress growth up to 26.57% at a concentration of 0.75%. In ripe fruit the incidence of disease is given 0% divorced leaf extract. but at high concentrations it can cause the fruit to wilt. Lemongrass and cherry leaf extracts were able to inhibit the number of fungal spores on PDA media. reaching 100% on PDA media. Lemongrass and cherry leaf extract can be used in controlling anthracnose. it would be even better if it was added with information from the field.
