Abstract

This research entitled "Development of Photonovela Learning Media Based on Easyclass Material of Bumiayu Temple Statues in the History Subject in Senior High School of 1 Palembang" contained data about Hindu Age Culture at the Bumiayu Temple site in South Sumatra. This research has been implemented in Xth grade of Social Sciences 3 in Senior High School of 1 Palembang. The objective of this research was to determine the level of validity, effectiveness, and practicality of the Easyclass-based Photonovela learning media on the material of the Bumiayu Temple statue at Senior High School of 1 Palembang. The development model used was the Four-D model. The learning media validity was determined based on the validation results by three experts, namely material experts, design experts, and media experts. Validity was shown from the media validation results for aspects of material, format, and language for design experts of 3.83, material experts of 3,57, and media experts of 3.61. So the overall average was 3.67 with a valid category. The learning outcomes of students after using Easyclass-based Photonovela were known to be 88.23%of students who have obtained a mastery level of the material with a minimumscore of 75. This indicated that Easyclass-based Photonovela learning media was effective. The practicality level of the Easyclass-based Photonovela media was very high with the results of the student response questionnaire of 85.25%.
