Abstract

Effectiveness of Monitoring Environmental Impacts Due to Company Waste at the Department of Environment and Land, Ogan Ilir Regency. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the supervision made by the government to maintain company compliance in managing waste produced in Ogan Ilir Regency. the company so that the supervision system carried out by the Environment and Land Service of Ogan Ilir Regency also needs to be examined using the Robbins and Coulter theory, based on this theory which is used to measure the effectiveness of the supervision carried out by the Environment and Land Office of Ogan Ilir Regency consisting of: standard, measurement, comparison, action. The method is used through a qualitative descriptive approach. Based on the results of data analysis conducted from this study, the supervision carried out by the Department of Environment and Land of Ogan Ilir Regency in the management of the company's production waste has fulfilled three dimensions, namely standard dimensions, measurement dimensions, and action dimensions. While the comparison dimension is not met. The results of this study recommend that in carrying out supervision the Department of Environment and Land of Ogan Ilir Regency should communicate more regularly with existing companies, use accurate and modern technology, and make additional staff, especially in the Field of Compliance and Environmental Capacity Building. Live and increase the morale of the supervisors so that the planned targets can be achieved to the maximum. Keywords: effectiveness, supervision, waste
