Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the academic self efficacy of the students grade X in SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung. This research was a survey research. The data collection technique usedLikert model. Population of study were 185 students, and 62 students were selected as sample by random sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used percentage. The results of this study indicated, on average the academic self efficacy of 67% of students was in the high category. I’m perspective of when viewed from the aspect of self efficacy academic,the results showed that: (1) 73% of students in high category of generality aspect, (2) 66% students in high category of strength aspect, and (3) 61% students in high category of magnitude aspect.
