Abstract

Currently Mutiara Indah Mart Kebun Bunga Palembang has not entirely used information technology in the process of inventory management, especially when determining the quantity of ordered stock and ordering period only based on experience and intuition that sometimes there is mistake about the stock. The purpose of this research is to build inventory management information system at Mutiara Indah Mart Kebun Bunga Palembang using web-based technology. The method used in the development of this system is FAST (Framework for the Applications of System Technology) which consists of eight stages, while the method in managing the stock of goods is through three stages used from the MRP (Material Requirement Planning), Lotting using EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method, and Offsetting stage using ROP (Reorder Point) method. The results of this research is a system that poured in web-based inventory management information system which will be used in Mutiara Indah Mart Kebun Bunga Palembang. In this system there are three users which are manager, administrator of store, and part of warehouse that have access rights according to their requirement - each. It is expected that using this system can help determine the quantity of inventory and the consumed time when ordering the goods. So that it can simplify the performance to manage inventory and be useful for Mutiara Indah Mart Kebun Bunga Palembang.
