Abstract

Statistics Indonesia is a non-departmental government institute that is responsible for conducting statistical surveys. One of many is population projection which is needed for government program. But one Statistics Indonesia which is located on East OKU regency has a problem with the system, their system not integrated enough to do this process. With that say, the best solution is to apply data mining system to solve the problem. Data Mining is a technique which can be used to solve some problem that associate with many data which is implemented with other method to get the solution. This research will use Multiple Linear Regression as main method to search for formula which will be used to project the population of east OKU. Based on plan, the system can be used directly by employees to do the projection process through program website which is built by PHP language, and Statistics Indonesia can cooperate with other institute about this population projection process.
