Abstract

ARIK HANDAYA. Analisis of farmer’s income after land conversion from rubber plants to rice field farming in the Lempuing district, Ogan Komering Ilir regency ( supervised by IMRON ZAHRI and MARYADI) The purpose of this sutdy is, 1. Calculate the amount of income from rice farming after transferring land from rubber plants to rice paddy farming which starts from calculating total production costs, revenues and income of farmers after land conversion. 2. Identify the influence of the use of farmland area, the selling price of rice and rice, the cost of farming production and the amount of farm production on the income of farmers after the conversion of land from rubber plants into rice farming. Location determination is done intentionally (purvosive sampling location). Data collection in this study was conducted in march 2019. The data collected was primary data and secondary data. The research method used is the survey method. The sampling method used is the cencus method (saturated sampling). The resultsof the research that have been done can be conclude 1. The average of total income obtained by farmers from the result of rice farming is Rp. 22.960.000,00/Lg/Th and The average of total income obtained by farmers is Rp. 22.960.000,00/Lg/Th while the average total income from rubber plants before land conversion is Rp. 19.489.929,49/Lg/Th and the average total income from rubber plants is Rp. 28.287.134,94/Ha/Th. 2. Factors that have a real affect on farm income sold in the form of rice, it can be conclude that the land area did not have real affect to farmer’s income, while production costs, the amount of production and selling price had a significanteffect on farmers income. For factor that have a real affect on farm income sold in the form income sold in the from of rice, it is conculed that the land area and production costs did not have a significant affect on farmer income, ehile the amount of production and selling price has a significant affect on farmer income.
