Abstract

The research about “Distribution of Species fforn the Genus Sonneratia m the Calik River Banyuasin Based Salinity“ which was conducted in May 2014. The research aim to determine the species and distribution from the genus Sonneratia in the Calik River Banyuasin based salinity. The sampling method that used was Systematic Sampling. Systematic Sampling method is regular sampling method or determined by roaming technique. The results of the research are got three species of mangrove from the genus Sonneratia, are Sonneratia alba salinity level 11-20 °/oo, Sonneratia caseolaris salinity level 0-15 °/oo, and Sonneratia ovata salinity level 6-15 °/oo.
