Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat suatu prototipe yang dapat mengendalikan pintu air saluran irigasi tersier pada lahan pasang surut dengan menggunakan system kontrol serta memberikan informasi membuka dan menutup kondisi pintu air melalui sensor elektroda dan mikrokontroler ATMegal6. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Instrumentasi Jurusan Teknologi Pertanian, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sriwijaya, Indralaya, Sumatera Selatan mulai Desember 2012 sampai Agustus 2013. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode rancang bangun system instrumen dan pengujian langsung di laboratorium. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dan pengambilan data pengujian presisi dari uji laboratorium disajikan berupa tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kerja prototipe sistem control pintu air secara keseluruhan (irigasi, netral, dan drainase) sudah sesuai dengan fungsi yang ditetapkan, yaitu saat sensor air terkena air maka pintu air membuka sesuai dengan level ketinggian air dan pintu akan menutup saat sensor air tidak terkena air, hasil pengujian menunjukkan dengan R = 1.
