Abstract

This study aims to analyze and find out which sectors are the leading sectors and the shift in the leading sectors in Palembang City, Pagar Alam City, Prabumulih City, Lubuk Linggau City. The data used are secondary data obtained directly from the Central Statistics Agency for each city in South Sumatra in 2010-2020. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative analysis and Location Quotiet (LQ) analysis, Share. The results show that based on DLQ and Shift Share during the period 2011-2020, the sectors that have the highest LQ values are the Manufacturing Industry, Electricity and Gas Procurement and Wholesale and Retail Trade; Car and Motorcycle Repair and Shift Share Palembang City has a relatively higher growth rate for all sectors compared to all the same sectors at the Provincial Level. The other three cities have a slowing sector, namely the procurement sector.
