Abstract

Batubara merupakan batuan sedimen yang terbentuk dari sisa tanaman purba sehingga sisa tanaman tersebut mengalami pengendapan proses kimia dan fisika sampai terjadi pengayaan pada kandungannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pendugaan keberadaan batubara di desa Kahuripan Baru menggunakan metode inversi menggunakan program library pyGIMLI dan RS2DINV sebagai pembanding. NIlai resistivitas dalam survey geofisika diperlukan sebagai salah satu parameter dalam penentuan struktur bawah permukaan. Dari hasil inversi diperoleh pendugaan batubara di area penelitian yang diduga di kedalaman 6 – 10 meter di bawah permukaan dengan variasi nilai resistivitas setiap konfigurasi, nilai resistivitas hasil pengolahan software RES2DINV konfigurasi Wenner sebesar 281 Ωm dan konfigurasi Schlumberger sebesar 343 Ωm. Sedangkan untuk nilai resistivitas hasil pengolahan library pyGIMLI konfigurasi Wenner sebesar 69.7 Ωm dan konfigurasi Schlumberger sebesar 235 Ωm. penelitian ini menghasilkan nilai error yang didapat dalam program library pyGIMLI lebih kecil yaitu dibawah 10%.
