Abstract

This study was conducted to know the percentage of stimulation given by parents based on naturalist intelligence to children aged (5-6) years in Purnajaya Village, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency during the covid 19 pandemic. The population in this study are parents who have children aged (5-6) years in Purnajaya Village as many as 40 children with the selected old sample of as many as 15 children using purposive sampling technique with consideration of children who attend PAUD Puspita Purnajaya Village and are (5-6) years old. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative, with data collection techniques in the form of observation using a checklist and documentation. Data analysis resulted in a percentage of 63% in the B (Good) category, which was indicated by a percentage of 88% for parental stimulation inviting children to observe flora, fauna, and the universe, 83% for parental stimulation inviting children to talk about flora, fauna, and nature. universe, 27% for parental stimulation invites children to group flora, fauna, and the universe, 67% for parental stimulation inviting children to take care of plants, and 52% for parental stimulation inviting children to take care of animals. It can be concluded that the form of stimulation given by parents based on naturalist intelligence to children aged (5-6) years in Purnajaya Village as a whole is good, if you look at the stimulation of each indicator some indicators are the very good and good category and some indicators are in the enough and fewer categories that require better stimulation.
