Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding of prospective student concepts on physics students on the solar system material science course. This study was conducted on prospective students of physics teachers at Sriwijaya University. As a data collection tool using a two level research method accompanied by open reasons and equipped CRI (Certainty of Response Index) with a scale of 0-5. It was found that the average score of students from the test results was 69%, students who experienced did not understand the concept as much as 16%, students who experienced the concept but were not sure as much as 2%, students who experienced the concept well 13%.
