Abstract

This study aims to analyze the basic and non-base sectors of rubber commodities and the spatial linkage of rubber commodities between sub-districts in Banyuasin Regency. Spatial linkages are the basis for establishing a pattern of regional cooperation between sub-district in Banyuasin Regency so that the potency developing of rubber commodities becomes more optimal. The method used is Location Quotient (LQ) analysis to identify basic commodities, and LISA (Local Indicator of Spatial Association) analysis to determine rubber commodities and sub-district locations that have potency to form regional cooperation patterns. The results of this study indicate that the sub-districts that have potency to form a pattern of regional cooperation in the development of rubber commodities are Banyuasin III. Rantau Bayur, Sembawa, Suak Tapeh, and Betung sub-districts.
