Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pemberian air dan campuran media tanam yang terbaik pada tanaman menggunakan irigasi tetes terhadap tanaman cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.). Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial (RAKF), dengan dua faktor perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor A terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu pemberian Air Aj: 90%, A2:100%, A3: 110% dan faktor B terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu media tanam B r. Lapisan tanah, sekam, tanah; B2: Lapisan tanah, sekam ; B3: campuran tanah, sekam. Parameter yang diamati adalah kadar air tanah (%), efisiensi pemberian air (%), tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), jumlah buah, berat buah (g) dan berat berangkasan (g). Perlakuan pemberian air memberikan pengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman. Perlakuan media tanam berupa tanah, sekam merupakan perlakuan yang terbaik dibandingkan dengan perlakuan tanah, sekam, tanah dan tanah yang dicampur dengan sekam.
