Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan produksi Crude Palm Oil yang optimal di pabrik kelapa sawit PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Unit Usaha Betung dengan menggunakan goal programming. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai dengan bulan Juli 2011 di Perusahaan Perseroan (Persero) PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Unit Usaha Betung dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Kegiatan yang diamati meliputi kegiatan produksi CPO di pabrik, kegiatan produksi TBS di kebun inti, kegiatan pembelian TBS dari kebun seinduk dan kegiatan pembelian TBS dari pihak ketiga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan belum berproduksi dengan optimal pada tahun 2010. Jumlah produksi crude palm oil yang optimal hasil olahan goal programming untuk triwulan pertama, kedua, ketiga dan keempat secara berturut-turut 7.445 ton, 7.657 ton, 9.767 ton dan 12.591 ton; produksi TBS di kebun inti 2.793 ton, 2.701 ton, 7.632 ton dan 10.523 ton; pembelian TBS dari kebun seinduk 18.811 ton, 15.447 ton, 25.878 ton dan 37.491 ton; dan pembelian TBS dari pihak ketiga 8.294 ton, 8.413 ton, 8.357 ton dan 7.354 ton.
