Abstract
The design of jelly cooling system using a peltier was aimed to accelerate the cooling process of jelly compared to conventional cooling at normal time. This research was conducted from Juni 2017 to Desember 2017 at Laboratorium Energi and Electrification of Agricultural Technology Sriwijaya University. This research using peltier TEC-12706 as component for cooling system. The method use in this research was descriptive method with three stages of research that are to design the tool . operate the tool and the testing the tool. The observed parameters were the power required during tool operated. The changing temperatureand the timed needed fot that process. The result show that the power required during the tool operating is 129.1 W and the power need of pump is 0.107 kWh in every experiment. The time generated by the peltier cooling system is a 50 minute whereas by the conventional system is 90 minutes.
