Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang Hubungan Status Gizi Siswa terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Sekolah Dasar selama 2 bulan dari bulan Juni 2005 sampai dengan bulan Agustus 2005. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Status Gizi Siswa terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Sekolah Dasar, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 107 Kelurahan 7 Ulu Kecamatan Seberang Ulu I Palembang di kelas II, III, IV dan V, besar sampel yang didata sebanyak 121 orang siswa dari 173 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian yang dialkukan berdasarkan pengukuran status gizi siswa, berat badan berbanding umur didapatkan 99 orang siswa (81,81) berstatus gizi baik yang terdiri dari 94 orang siswa (77.68%) berstatus gizi baik berprestasi belajar baik, 5 orang siswa (4,13%) berstatus gizi baik berprestasi belajar kurang dan 22 orang siswa (18,18%) berstatus gizi kurang yang terdiri dari 19 orang siswa (15,70%) berstatus gizi kurang berprestasi belajar kurang, 3 orang siswa (2,47%) orang siswa berstatus gizi kurang berprestasi belajar baik. Dengan menggunakan uji statistic uji Chi Square dengan tingkat kepercayaan 0,95 didapatkan hasil X2 hitung 76,839 dan X2 tabel 5,991 berarti X" hitung 76,839 lebih besar X2 tabel 5,991. Kesimpulan yang didapat ada hubungan erat antara Status Gizi Siswa Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Kata Kunci : Status Gizi, Prestasi Belajar
