Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of capital structure, liquidity, and profitability on the capital structure of coal mining sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016 – 2020. The population in this study are all coal mining sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. and research samples obtained as many as 24 companies. The data used is panel data. The results showed that the structure of assets, liquidity and profitability simultaneously had a significant effect on the capital structure. Furthermore, the results of the study partially show that asset structure has a negative and insignificant effect on capital structure, liquidity has a negative and insignificant effect on capital structure, and profitability has a positive and significant effect on capital structure.
