Abstract

The purpose of this research was find out the income comparison of Koperasi Unit Desa (KUD) and non-KUD oil palm farmers in Sumber Rezeki Village Sungai Lilin District Musi Banyuasin Regency, determine the level of household welfare of oil palm farmers in Sumber Rezeki Village Sungai Lilin District Musi Banyuasin Regency, describe the socio-economic conditions of oil palm farmers in Sumber Rezeki Village Sungai Lilin District Musi Banyuasin Regency. Data collection was carried out in February 2022 used a questionnare on 60 respondents. Data processed methods in descriptive analysis and contribution analysis are presented in tabulation of data processed with Microsoft Excel and SPSS. The results of this study indicate that there are any significant difference in the household income of oil palm farmers between KUD farmers and non-KUD farmers with the results of the Independent Sample T-test namely sig (2-tailed) 0,000. Based on the criteria of the Central Statistic Agency (2014) regarding the level of household welfare, the level of household welfare of oil palm farmers in Sumber Rezeki Village Sungai Lilin District Musi Banyuasin Regency is quite high, as many as 28 KUD farmers and 19 non-KUD farmers are in the welfare category II with a precentage of 93,33% for KUD farmers and 63,33% for non-KUD farmers. And then, there are any 2 KUD farmers and 11 non-KUD farmers included in the welfare category I with a precentage of 6,67% for KUD farmers and 36,67% for non-KUD farmers. There is nothing farmers that included in the under prosperous category.
