Abstract

This research is entitled "Implementation of Governors Regulation Number 37 of 2020 concerning Guidelines of Adopting New Habits Towards a Productive and Safe Sumatra Province". this study aims to find out how the implementation of the governor's regulation number 37 of 2020 regarding guidelines for adapting new habits towards a productive and safe society in the 2019 coronavirus disease situation in the youth and sports department of the province of South Sumatra. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method also the operating data and data collection techniques were adapted to qualitative research. this research uses Ripley and Franklin's theory of policy implementation. the result of research from the implementation of Governor Regulation Number 37 of 2020 has been successfully implemented even though they have not run optimally. Described from the aspect of Compliance Level, consisting of subaspects of complying with health protocols for employees who work at the Youth and Sports Office of South Sumatra Province and the Head of the South Sumatra Province Youth and Sports Service who has prepared health protocols in the work area that have been obediently carried out by the implementor. in the aspect of Smooth Functional Routines and no Problems, data collection, fast service, external coordination services, monitoring, and monitoring have gone quite smoothly. in the aspect of Performances and Impact, judging by the performances, data collection on official travel and movement has been carried out, fast service for employees suspected of being ODP or PDP, external coordinating services, monitoring of overseas/out-of-region trips, and monitoring of body temperature although it has not been carried out optimally and the impact has been suppress the spread of the Covid-19 virus and provide changes in the behavior of each employee that it is important to implement health protocols.
