Abstract

Abstract This study aims to develop learning videos on heat and temperature materials based on conceptual change for high school students that are valid and practical. The research method used is development research using the Rowntree model which consists of three stages, namely the planning stage, the development stage and the evaluation stage. The evaluation stage uses a tessmer formative evaluation technique consisting of self-evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation, and small group evaluation. Data collection techniques use expert validation sheets and questionnaires. Based on the results of expert review from two aspects of assessment, the average assessment of experts was obtained at 92.5%, with a very valid category. Based on the results of one to one evaluation, the average response of students to the use of learning videos was 89.7% with the very practical category, then at the small group evaluation stage the results obtained the average responses of students to the use of learning videos were 84.8% with the practical category. The results showed that the learning videos developed were valid and practical. So that the conclusion was obtained that the learning video of temperature and heat materials based on conceptual change developed by researchers has met the requirements for use as a high school physics media leraning.
