Abstract

One of the plantation commodities that has an important role is rubber. Rubber plants need good care to keep producing optimally. The lack of plant sanitation activities as well as the inappropriate selection of liquid organic fertilizer doses resulted in the production of rubber latex not being optimal. In order to test this, this study aims to test whether there is the best treatment in the production of rubber latex as well as soil pH and NPK levels and whether it can significantly affect the response. This research was conducted in Payaraman District, Ogan Ilir. The design used in this study is a Split Plot Design with 5 levels of treatment levels, namely P0, P1, P2, P3 and P4 with 5 replications P0 = 0% dilution level (control) = 1000 ml of water, P1 = 1 % = 10 ml POC + 990 ml water = 1000 ml, P2 = 2 % = 20 ml POC + 980 ml water = 1000 ml, P3 = 3 % = 30 ml POC + 970 ml water = 1000 ml, P4 = 4 % = 40 ml POC + 960 ml water = 1000 ml. The results of the study recommend that for weeded rubber plants it is recommended to use T2P4 treatment (Weeded Plants + 4% POC dose) because this treatment can increase the yield of rubber latex. Meanwhile, for plants that are not weeded, it is recommended to use the T1P2 treatment (Plant without weeding + 2% POC dose) because it has a better rubber sap production than other treatments.
