Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cooperation of the Governments of Bangladesh and India in tackling human trafficking in 2016-2018. Trafficking cases in Bangladesh and India are increasing every year. Therefore, the Government of Bangladesh conducted bilateral cooperation with the Government of India as an effort to prevent trafficking practices, especially in women and children by signing an MoU on bilateral cooperation in 2015. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Based on the research, the results were obtained where in addressing the practice of human trafficking, the governments of Bangladesh and India along with all government and non-governmental elements adopted the Standard Operating Procedures of the MoU on bilateral cooperation with India, namely RRRI or Rescue, Recovery, Repatriation, Integration.
