Abstract
The processing of Orthodox black tea at PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Unit Pagaralam is good, starting from the supporting facilities and infrastructure in the processing to packaging. Control of raw material production according to the EPQ method is categorized quite well, it can be seen in the EPQ calculation. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that the variable amount of tea production and HPP has a significant effect on the EPQ value at the PTPN VII tea processing plant, Pagaralam Unit, South Sumatra. Raw materials are a number of resources in the form of raw materials or finished goods provided by the company to meet consumer demand (Diana Khairani Sofyan, 2013). Raw materials are the main ingredients needed to make manufactured goods. Raw materials must also be processed and processed to be made into other forms that can be used. The raw materials themselves can be processed without auxiliary or supporting materials but can reduce the quality of the product to decrease or the production results do not produce optimal results. If the raw materials are produced into sosro tea, jasmine tea, black tea or other tea drinks, the supporting materials are salt, poly aluminum chloride (PAC), chlorine, and active carbon.
