Abstract
Indoor air quality needs special attention. Because it is very influential on human health. One way that can be done is to keep the air quality in the room clean by using Sansevieria plants. This project aims to design a purifier using Sansevieria plants. Sansevieria plants can absorb toxic gases such as carbon monoxide (CO) and produce clean air (O2) through their roots. The parameters measured are the MQ-2 gas sensor used to detect CO and O2 gases. The O2 gas produced from the plant is blown into a closed room area using a DC fan. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out on this project, the sansevieria plant is proven to be able to absorb toxic gases in a closed room with an average time of 2 hour 14 minutes with a value range from 139 - 8 PPM and the plant functions as a clean air filter with a value range of 101 - 10 PPM in a closed room with an average time of 37 minutes
