Abstract
The majority of the population in Meranjat II Village, Ogan Ilir Regency, has home industry of kemplang tunu. Baked Kemplang is a typical snack from the South Sumatra region. Kemplang tunu made from river fish, tapioca flour, and other seasonings. Based on the results of initial observations, it is known that there are still kemplang workers who have awkward work postures, therefore to avoid the occurrence of work-related diseases or work accidents it is necessary to carry out an ergonomic risk assessment for kemplang tunu workers. Ergonomics is the science, art, and application of technology to create a balance between all abilities, abilities, and limitations of humans both physically and mentally with all the facilities used both in activities and at rest, so that an optimal work environment can be created. The research design in this research is descriptive observational with case study design and the total object of this research is 8 kemplang tunu workers in Meranjat II Village, Ogan Ilir Regency. The object selection technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The risk analysis method used is the Ergonomic Risk Analysis method, the Rapid Entire Body Assessment. The results of the calculation of the level of ergonomic risk using the REBA method on 4 respondents working in the dough making section, 3 of 4 respondents getting a score of 8-10 so that they are at the High Risk and 1 respondent gets a score of 4-7 so that they are at the Medium Risk. The results of calculating the level of ergonomics risk using the REBA method on 4 respondents working in the kemplang roasting section, 3 of 4 respondents getting a score of 8-10 so that they are at the High Risk and 1 respondent gets a score of 4-7 so they are at the Medium Risk. It is suggested to the kemplang roast workers to change their habit of awkward work postures and adjust them to a neutral work posture. It is also recommended for workers of Kemplang Roast to be able to use tools such as tables, chairs, and other tools that may be used to reduce the use of manual labor during the work process.
