Abstract
The need for electrical energy also increasing over the time, which increases the use of fossil fuels. In order to overcome the issue of increasing the use of fossils, the alternative solution is the new renewable resources which is solar thermal energy. The utilization of solar thermal energy can use thermoelectric module TEC1-12706. While in this research will varies the waterblock cooler application. This study obtained the largest output in 12 thermoelectric series using waterblock cooler. This study also obtained some results, in waterblock cooler condition got 4.63 V of voltage, 0.01290 A of current, and 0.059727 of Power. While in non waterblock cooler condition got 2.07 V of voltage, 0.01089 A of current, and 0.0225423 W of power. These results are in accordance with the Seebeck effect theory which states that the voltage is directly proportional to the temperature difference between both of hot and cold side. Therefore, the greater of temperature difference will obtain to the greater of the output voltage.
