Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the relationship between critical thinking abilities and student learning outcomes at senior high school 1 Mendo Barat. The method uses in this research is correlation with purposive sampling techniques. Data retrieval is done in class XI IPA with 56 students. The research data was obtained using the instrument of critical thinking abilities developed by Maharani 2021 and test learning outcomes which sere distributed via google form. The result of the research showed that that the average critical thinking ability and student learning outcomes were in the less category with a value of 52,41 for the average critical thinking ability and a value of 52,79 for the average student learning outcome. The results of the correlation test between critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes show a positive correlation with a low interpretation, namely the correlation coefficient value of 0.325.
