Abstract

This research was conducted in January–May 2021 in Plants at Unsri Experimental Garden, Village III, Gelumbang Village, Gelumbang District, Muara Enim Regency. This study used an intensive level survey method with the help of a 1:7.000 scale map with an area of 46 ha. The sample points consisted of 46 points taken using the grid method, at each point representing 1 ha and composited into 16 soil samples. Parameters observed in the field are drainage class which is classified as good and has three land topography with a flat land slope of 0-3%, sloping 3-8% and a slope of 8-15% and soil samples are taken to a depth of 120 cm at the depth parameter. effective. Parameters analyzed in the laboratory were taken at a depth of 0-30 cm. The parameters observed were soil texture which had three texture classes: sandy loam, sandy clay and loamy sand. Soil pH is very acidic to acidic between 4.26 - 4.76. Soil CEC is classified as low ranging from 7.5 to 12.5. N-total is classified as: medium, low and very low ranging from 0.03 to 0.40%. P-available classified as: medium, low and very low ranged from 8.25 – 12 ppm. K2O is classified as very low between 0.12 – 0.31 me/100g. The results showed that the actual land suitability assessment for maize was N-nfrst with an area of 38 ha and N-nfrt with an area of 8 ha while soybean plants have an actual suitability assessment N-nfrsw with an area of 38 ha and N-nfrw with an area of 8 ha. Given inputs in the form of organic matter, agricultural lime, urea fertilizer, SP-36 fertilizer and KCl fertilizer, the assessment of potential land suitability for corn plants becomes S2-rst with an area of 32 ha, S2-rt with an area of 8 ha and S3-rst with an area of 6 ha and soybean plants have a potential land suitability assessment of S3-wrs with an area of 38 ha and S3-wr with an area of 8 ha.
