Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Village Government's Strategy in The Development of Pineapple Agrotourism in Bikang Village, Toboali District, South Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province". The research problem discusses the main causes of the decline in tourist visits to pineapple agro-tourism, the impact of the decline in tourist visits to pineapple agro-tourism, and the village government's strategy in developing pineapple agro-tourism. The purpose of this study was to understand the village government's strategy in developing pineapple agro-tourism in Bikang Village. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a descriptive research strategy. Data collection was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews with 13 informants, and documentation. Furthermore, it is analyzed using the 4A concept from Copper, et al covering Attractions (attractions), Accessibility (accessibility), Amenities (facilities), and Ancilliary (additional services). The results of this study indicate that the main causes of the decline in tourist visits to pineapple agro-tourism are the COVID-19 pandemic, the dependence of visitors on the pineapple harvest season, and the lack of public facilities in the pineapple agro-tourism area. and the impact of the decline in tourist visits to pineapple agro-tourism, namely reduced income turnover, selling pineapples at low prices, and reducing the production of pineapple MSME. The village government's strategy in developing pineapple agro-tourism is building a pineapple monument as a characteristic form of pineapple agro-tourism, strategic tourist locations on main highways, building visitor shelters, and MSME product promotion houses, promoting pineapple agro-tourism as a form of visitor service.
