Abstract

This study aims to determine the procedure for developing Quizizz as an online learning medium for fourth grade students at Public Elementary school number 02 Indralaya Utara. And this study also finds out the effect of applying Quizizz as an online learning medium in grade IV Public Elementary school number 02 Indralaya Utara and knowing the comparison of student learning outcomes before and after the implementation of Quizizz as an online learning medium in class IV at Public Elementary school number 02 Indralaya Utara. The procedure for developing Quizizz's online learning media is based on Hannafin and Peck's model. Where there are three stages carried out, namely the needs analysis stage, the design stage, and the development and implementation stage. Data collection techniques using learning outcomes tests and documentation. Before imposing learning media products, the validation process is carried out first. Validation was carried out by material experts, media experts, and questions experts, and tested on 30 fourth grade students. The results of the validation assessment from material experts obtained an average value of 80% with a good category. The results of the validation assessment from media experts obtained an average value of 95% with a very good category. The results of the validation assessment from the question experts found that they met all thirteen criteria so that the questions were said to be valid. The average value of student learning outcomes before the implementation of Quizizz was 62.88. Meanwhile, after the implementation of Quizizz, the average student learning outcomes were 83.76. So it can be said that the application of Quizizz as an online learning media significantly affects student learning outcomes. Furthermore, from the calculation of the hypothesis test, the value of t_count is 8.874 while the value of t_table with a significance of 5% and d.b = 24 is 2.064, so it can be concluded that there are differences in student learning outcomes before and after the implementation of Quizizz.
