Abstract

The research area is located in Cihea and its surroundings, Cianjur Regency, West Java. The morphology of the area consists of hills and high hills which the slopes are dominated by very steep slopes, especially on several main roads. In several locations, landslides were found during field observations which hindered access to the main road to the village. Research on landslide susceptibility is carried out using fuzzy logic method with a simple quantitative approach. The parameters that cause landslides used in this study consisted of morphological elevation, slope, rock type, soil type, rainfall, land use, and lineament density. The results of the analysis of the vulnerability level of the research area were modeled using ArcGIS 10.3 software with three classes of landslide susceptibility, namely the normal vulnerability level covering 27.5% of the study area, moderate vulnerability level covering 36.1% of the study area, and prone area covering 35. 4% of the research area.
