Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empiris efisiensi teknis usahatani di Kabupaten Banyuasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dengan teknik pengarnbilan sampel probability sampling, metode pengambilan sampel yaitu strati/led random sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 100 rumah tangga selama periode 2019-2021. Data observasi diperoleh dari wawancara mendalam terhadap kepala rumah tangga petani padi di Kecamatan Muara Telang Banyuasin. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian menggunakan slat analisis pen.dekatan Stochastic Frontier. Berdasarkan pendugaan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglass, maka usahatani di Kecarnatan Muara Telang berada pada kondisi yang efisien namun terdapat perbedaan efisiensi yang dijelaskan oleh karakteristik petani serta faktor eksternal lainnya. Temuan ini juga membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaaan yang paling menonjol terkait dengan faktor internal yaitu penggunaan luas lahan yang paling menentukan tingkat efisiensi teknis.
