Abstract
The problems that exist in Bujang Gadis Fasilkom Universitas Sriwijaya are that there are still obstacles in terms of subjectivity in the assessment of prospective participants from the top 30 stage, then there is still a buildup of files during the registration process which causes the files of prospective participants to be scattered, then prone to errors in the process. data processing due to the large number of prospective participant data and the large number of prospective participant data and the number of assessment criteria determined from the Bujang Gadis Fasilkom Unsri committee, causing data redundancy. The problem can be overcome by building an information system that can assist Bujang Gadis Fasilkom Universitas Sriwijaya Selection committee in providing recommendations for the best Bujang and Gadis finalists based on predetermined criteria. The decision-making process to determine the finalist candidates for Bujang Gadis Fasilkom Universitas Sriwijaya uses the TOPSIS method where calculations are carried out by normalizing the values of the participants that have been collected and then calculating the distance of the positive and negative ideal solutions so that the final results are in the form of preference values and rankings. This system was developed using the PHP programming language. This study aims to implement the TOPSIS method in the decision support system for the selection of Bujang Gadis Fasilkom Universitas Sriwijaya.
