Abstract

This research aims to empirically examine the effect of media expusure as the independent variable, also control variable such as type of industry, leverage and profitability on carbon emission disclosure of non-service industry companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012-2016. The research samples as many as 65 companies are selected by using purposive sampling method The data are secondary data obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research proves that simultaneously all variables have significant effect on carbon emission disclosure. Subsequently in partial. variabies of media exposure and profitability have significant effect on carbon emission disclosure, while variables of type of industry and leverage have no significant effect on carbon emission disclosure.
